Re: The Car
both mine work fine but on a cold night they take about 5 mins to get going. Go out on a cold night with a suit pair of trousers on and a t shirt. Then youll see whats wrong with them

Re: The Car
Yes, as comfy as leather is on "normal" days, it is rather annoying in cold and hot weathers (either of which we don't get in UK much), where you either freeze your bollocks off or fry them.
We had a new Ford Mondeo for hire on one of the business trips in the winter in Germany and it had heated but cloth seats. They took literally seconds to warm up, unlike in leather clad ones in 406 and the Accord I used to have (in fact, Accord ones were much worse than 406's).

Re: The Car

Re: The Car
Nope i got the neg from the earth, and the Plus from the bootlight, then there is a Toggle switch mounted to the boot roof and thats it, i still have the standard light when they are switched off but i can turn them on for extra light when needed, and because its powered with the normal light it all turns off when the boots closed.

Re: The Car
thats how they work, they get the -ve from the metal roof in the boot ie below the parcel shelf, and the +ve goes first to a switch and then to the +ve of the bootlight.
Its auto on with boot yes.

Re: The Car
I used Led lights intended as front fogs, but a strip would do just as well, although glue might finally give after time, i used pop rivets for a satisfying instalation.
On the issue of Paypal i think they are down at the moment, something to do with wikileaks it says on the news:
