If i were you i'd just fit them now youv'e got them and just wait till you get the rattle again,i don't think there hard to fit so i'd just wear them out then go to the factors.

supose thats what u get for £9.80 for 2

theyre ok but they dont last,
the silicone covers dont split it just seems the knucle part drys out and start to rattle fairly quickly

if you want some good ones ican get you some Qh ones £7 each.

but if iwas you iwouid just put the ebay ones on for now, they will last you till summer and then just replace them with good ones once they start going rattly

little update. did the rear top links today managed to use the inner canbus bolts again so saved me a small fortune at dealers for 2 new ones .. went to my grans house to do it cos she has a nice flat drive way and she could watch the baby for me  but forgot my camera for foto's . not to worry im sure all know how2 change rear top links . pretty easy job with 2 good socket sets and a black marker pen
anyway no more knocking on the rear now sounds really solid for the 1st time owning this 406

anyway got home and my logbook finally arrived for the car. means i can transfer my private plate now yet another small fortune that dvla charge , £80 fkin rip offs they are .

been busy today changing alloys over . and a few other things . stripped some parts from my old D8 heater blower fan . all my dash bits . wind deflecters etc etc
put some pics up when its clean in a few days.

got this from costco today . £41.98 for 20 litres . thats just over £10 per oil change . i.ve been paying £19 per 5 litres from stealers so good save here .

has any1 ever used this stuff ? i cant see it being any different to other oils.

ye plod but castrol is 4 litres . so you have to buy a 1 litre bottle which is about the same price :cheesy:

i got a full 20 litres for £41.98 which is 4 oil changes. thats £10.50p per oil change . great since ive always paid £19 for 5 litres of dealer oil ...
