Yes. They turn.
Trying to investigate a front end knock, jacked the car up, couldn't find any knoocking or looseness in the wishbones but then again, I'm a puff and not sure how hard you need to shake them, grabbed the drop links and theres no movement in them either. But when I grabbed both driveshafts theres about 1-2ml in and out movement in both of them? Is this normal?
Probably not, but define "in and out"... In and out of the gearbox/wheel hubs?
<steve_earwig> I think this forum is more about keeping our cars going with minimal outlay than giving our cars more reason to go bang

In shaft in between the 2 CV joints. Only about a MM or 2 Seem slike movement in the CV joints itself.

Naw only joking shiny disk brakes are nice when they are new. If only they would stay like that.
Though having said that i believe you can actually buy a wall clock which looks like a brake disk, and there is tyre ones as well.

Can't wait to get them changed. Current ones are warped pretty badly.
Just bought a brand new drivers side mirror from ebay too

Good stuff, thats much better than duck tape. Mind the old 405/309 mirrors were spring loaded and you could have whacked them off anything and they would have just sprung right back with no damage.
My disks when i got the car squealed everytime i pushed the brakes, there was also a groove made by the pads in about 2 milimeters. How much did them set you back.
£15 each for the discs (So £30 for the pair).
And £15~ for the front pads.
And a slab of carling to give to the GF's Dad for giving me a hand fitting them

Thats quite reasonable, to do mine i spent £150 on 4 disks, the rear shoes and all the pads for apex stuff, also a handbrake cable. Luckilly though my cousin has a car lift, and knew how to put pads into calpers because i hadnt a clue. But i did get a free pair of boots with the deal worth £30.
Not sure weather to find a Focus int he scrappy with rear disc brakes and covert it or weather to just rebuild the drums with new bearings etc. The standard Focus brakes are pleantyfull in all fairness.

Does a car need an ecu for brakeforce distribution to have rear disks?
But you could try add them whats the drums tightened by is it a hydraulic thing or a cable

Hydraulic as far as I know.
At the moment I'm thinking of keeping the drums as there more than adiquite, but if I get ST200 alloys like I plan, or even ST24 alloys then drums are going to look crap

A GODSEND! Thats 1 thing I hated about the 406!
Prefacelift Focuses (with the indicators on the bumper) have mahoosive cupholders which are only good for elephant feet. The ones in the facelift focus (with the indicators in the headlight) like mine are awesome. There slightly small but there a soft rubber, so it holds onto them very tight
