Fitted a standard airbox tonight.
Got it in the scrappy on tueday. The airbox that came with the car had a massive crack in the side where somebody drilled out a screw?? So I replaced it with an induction kit but driving along and all you can here is "*whistle* SHHHHHHHHHHH PTSHHHH" gets a tad tiring.
So new airbox...

Changing the air filter while it's out of the car with proffesional tools ...

Somehow my Mum managed to kill my car last week, a new boost componsator hose and retiming my fuel pump and the car was sound again (No idea how my Mum managed to break it like that but such is life)
It's booked in for it's MOT on Monday so I thought i'd treat it abit. Something thats been bothering me for a few weeks is the state of the old numberplate bulb holders...
Image
The right one is loose and kept going out, it took 3 bulb changes before I realised it was the bulb holder...
Image

So these turned up :D

In...

Working :D
Image

I have 3 keys with the car, two with the remote and one blank. The two with the remotes were abit worn...
Image
Image

So ordered some new buttons :D
Image

Dismantled the keys :)
Image

And Done...

Buttons were £2.52 each which beats paying £90 for a new key by far

I see you encountered the estate rear number light problem.
Its easier and quicker just to buy new units...£2 quid ish including bulbs at the dealers and fit them.
Trying to get those lenses off without damaging yourself or the cars aint worth it!

£4.89 for the numberplate bulb holders including bulbs. I might just buy a few spares as I'm going to get a load of spare bulbs and stuff anyway.
