There's two big holes - there's one for the speaker too. Looks like a good effort to me, it just needs some sort of bag to go round the speaker and pocket thing.
You didn't do anything to your car if you're not bleeding afterwards
it sure didnt work, theres a new one on now, original psa quality, which covers this hole. I dont have a picture, but just imagine a new door seal over the door.
the big hole in your home made seal shouldnt be there.
this is like were a hard sponge sits in. the original one is dipped to alow the big sponge bit fit in ...
good attempt yes . certainly better than leaving non there ...
with the new seals you gotta make sure 100% that the drain holes are not sealed . cos water still sits in the seal and door. escapes thrrough a little hole
your seal has to sit under that hole perfectly of water will gather in it ...
i know, the big spongue is sitting fine, i have cleaned out the 2 drain holes and also oiled up all the internal stuff eg door mechanism and electric window guides, and its on tight. Just forgot to charge the phone battery went flat and no pictures of the new sheet in. But believe me i did put a new sealing sheet in, it even seals over the speaker with just a hole for the wire.
I dont want to be getting water in my car full stop, my fiat had a smashed rear window and it was sitting for 3 months, the damp smell got in and i could not get it out. So i did this to keep away dampness in my car.
But anyhow ive got myself hold of a sat nav drive, relay, remote, gps antenna and just need a screen to finish the job off properly.
bon appetit, they quieten up any door that did not have one, stop leaks and give you something to do in putting them on, other than that their functions are limited, they cant take pictures, phone other people or play music which at that price is what youd expect.
the seals do not work, i think the adhesive stuff isnt holding up to it along the bottom, but gary if you read this would you recommend that tigerseal for the job?
feck it i got some tigerseal, by the sounds of it its the stuff.
And better news im going tommorow to buy a d9 off my friend for £250, it doesnt work, but ill be breaking it, once its broke another friend has a working d9 for £200 which i shall do the same on, and give this breaking buisness a bit of a go. But also a few good guides will result from it. Being able to take various parts off without caring if they go back on is the stuff.
