its a window out of a house which i cut a hole for and put in so i could see who was coming up the drive.
But ive competley stripped out the shed, bar some old cardboard boxes and some rubbish. So its getting put on the rubbish pile. And now im looking at a new shed, i see a nice 20x10ft shed, wouldnt mind something a bit bigger than the 8x8ft which i had, it was a bit small.

A parcel arrived in the post:

the drive is in good condition:
Image
the gps antenna which seems to be magnetic, and just plugs into the back of the drive:

the back of the drive:

the wires all match up, and the relay also came. Not installed yet though.
And the remote, well someone else has had this for 9 years, so it needs cleaning, i stripped it down to pieces and gave it a good clean, all the dust between the buttons is gone and it smells fresh.
Image
a handy test for remote controls, a phone camera will see the infared light coming off any remote:

In with the sat nav then.
So out comes the parcel shelf to plonk the gps antenna into place. Unfortunatley i think i broke one of the latches on the shelf, its glue is drying at the moment so its not so bad. Anyhow the gps antenna sits nicely into a indented bit of the metal shelf under the parcel shelf, but beside the speaker on the right:

and luckily everything is there, even the bracket for the sat nav to fit into place:
Image
it just slips in there and locks into place like a car radio (i think its single din sized) you hear a satisfactory click when its in place.
cut a hole in the carpet and hey presto:
Image
ok the hole isnt right but that can be sorted some time.
It sounds easy but i had to relocate the parking sensor ecu, and the sound supressors i have for the radio, a bit fiddly but all done. Just need the screen now.
It does work, i got the two lights on and was able to eject the cd, should i put it into my computer and make a copy incase it gets scratched?

here is the shed in its state of disrepair, im going to build a new one.
Image
note that is a real window at the back not a tft monitor, but i am enjoying the different views out of the window

I also cleaned the carpets in the car with shake n vac, some glade fragranced thing, you just shake the dust over the carpet, doodle around for 5 minuites or more, drink a cup of tea, read the ads for free then hoover it up. I must say it smells spliffing good, and very easy to use if a little dusty.
