the aeriel in accordance with the user manual is meant to follow the same angle of the windscreen, then it wont look so bad.

A 307 is a 406's younger cousin. That's technically legal but definitely frowned upon in a lot of social circles.

It'd need to be from another manufacturer. Hmmm, maybe a nice Aston Martin DB9 Roadster with its top off; that'd get the 406 excited

the aston pic with the optional bonnet ornaments got me excited, Giggidy.
So if the 307 is the 406s sibling then the c4 would be its younger cousin, and the cx would be its uncle, the 305 being its great grampa?
I suppose a 406 could get excited by a renault, but then they are old enemies so its unlikely, so my hypothisis on what would excite a 406 is not actually a car, but a trolley load of com2000 units.
What other owners club goes into this level of discussion?

Thanks to me dad for getting me a strut brace for christmas
Image
Also thanks to ade1122 for getting it delivered very quickly, it arrived today despite the fresh layer of snow everywhere.

Planning on either spraying red or a new cover of black or matte grey then put it on after my insurance is renewed.

Plan for a full service in jan then run it on vegetable oil for some cheap driving

I've been sanding down the strut brace ready for painting, getting rid of minor surface rust.

I also had some spare wooden trims from the scrap yard i got for free. I cant spray paint for shoot so i covered it in stickers.

Good news, a trip to my sisters to help her remove her after market stereo (before her car gets part-ex'd for a 118d) results in me getting a new stereo

New (with MP3 connection)

Also noticed the bonnet catch was a bit rusty, so i sprayed up a spare one that i got from the scrap yard

Then since my insurance is being renewed in ten days i decided to spray my strut brace in anticipation of me being able to put it on.

Thats it so far although there is a bonus crash photo (must have been going fast as quite far from the roundabout)

When student finance comes in it will be getting a long overdue cambelt & water pump and then a full service

I used the link from the second post.

The first 4 numbers relate to the date while the last 2 relate to the plant it was built at i believe

She used to own a RWD Auto BMW cant remember the model though. She didnt drive it in the snow though as Auto + RWD + Snow = Tree. 118d looks like a good, solid fast diesel 0-60 just under 8secs and very good on MPG (i want one now ha)
