Re: Nollington Hards progress blog
Thats fine, any sentence with "dodgy" and "accelerator cable" together sounds bad, so look all you want tommorow ha
There is a small amount of rubbing on the bonnet but you can see it tommorow its just minor rubbing on one side

yep , sometimes my car is very slow, the accelarator peddel is stiff, and when you press the pedal to the floor it doesnt pull the pump all way across , only half way , so its totally f*cked up

The seats are for a D9 so you have to switch the backplates for some from a D8, the D9 backplates don't fit into the D8s. You have to cut through the foam to fit the locking mechanisms so that the seats will lock into place

Re: Nollington Hards progress blog
Its done but it took a day, had to drill out the bolts that hold the ski flap opener down as i didn't want a black interior with grey plastic behind the arm rest. It is tricky and my finishing doesn't look too good but i think its turned out alright.
I will get some daytime photos once the fronts are in (have to wait now for a free day)

There all in

Not only are they comfier they also hold you in the seat more than the cloths do when taking corners as the cloths are more rounded

Re: Nollington Hards progress blog
My cambelt paranoia is now over thanks to Kris B.
Very nice guy, lots of knowledge on XUD9s and peugeots in general and very good prices. Definitely recommend him as he is very competent
http://www.krisb.co.uk/
So cambelt is now done
Also while looking over his 306 1.9td (120-130HP) i noticed that he had removed an arm on the bosch pump to make it more free revving

I then took it of and

Well worth doing, feels much more like a petrol rev
Also my strut brace had been rubbing on the bonnet so he kindly hammered the rubbing areas in

This weekend its getting a LOOOONG overdue service so all in all its being treated rather well this week
Also been talking to him about getting a Bosch fuel pump put on mine that has access to the fuel pump.
