Considered doing it myself, but it really isn't a job for somebody with as little time as me. Mastertints in Southampton did all my side windows & tailgate for the princely sum of £150 which was an absolute bargain compared to the £300 other companies were charging that wouldn't even touch the fronts.

They'd want to be mint for the amount of money the refurb cost.

The 406 Coupe "Nautilus" alloys, which were only fitted to "Silver & Black" special edition Coupes, left the factory in that colour.

Honestly don't know the name of the colour, but it isn't the factory finish as the centre caps got refurbed as well as the wheels as one of them had split. The factory finish for them is this horrible rough texture.

Every now & again I look at them & think they'd look good in the same colour as the car though.

Hubcaps the same colour as the car looked good on old Mercs. but I think the whole wheel would look like too much paint. Anyone got time to photoshop it? ('cos I ain't :( )

cheers mate. just had a price for a 4 wheel re-furbishment.

The Wheel Specialist - in manchester .

£187 +vat for a set of 4x 15" wheels in gun metal grey. they said they powder coat them for a more duarable finish (better than paint) they said.

if i want the rim in red its an extra £100 +vat per wheel  so £400 +vat just for a red rim

think i'll stick to gunmetal grey. 8)
