I think the quota is set to zero so the server doesn't fill up. Or something. We all just use photobucket or similar, but I think Facebook will work too, hold on...

Very, very nice, and it's an estate :cheesy:

I have owned a couple of se's before so I had an idea of the car I wanted, I just waited patiently for this one, I had seen quiet a few but the spiel was robotic and textbook, when I saw this advertised there was sporadic care with it that only someone who was genuine would write (Private sale), if I can dig out the advert I'll post it, there was no mention of cruise control, armrests half leather or most of the toys lol however there was mention of the roofrails and towbar FPSH.

When I rang the gentleman (Paul) there was no bull with him, no harshness but a simple if you want it come get it attitude, so I asked him to hold the car untill this eve when I finished work I drove up, poor bugga waited up till near midnight, its a long drive to newcastle from mine.

When I pulled up despite my weiriness of buying a car in the dark I was confident that i'dd find a thorn  , however after a little drive where paul was showing me all the spares in the glovebox - (things like the flying saucers for the HDI cover on the engine and a pin thingy for the door card peugeot data card and the recipts for exhaust and breaks) I just wanted him to have the cash so he couldn't take my new car off me

I told Paul to ring me when he's selling his new Jag so I can buy that off him lol :cheesy:

Succession planning, (I think Dai called it).
Dogmobile's on 141k & I'm adding 25k/year. The game plan was to keep it 4 years, (till Oct 12), then scrap it / sell it for a few hundred. (The luggage area will never clean up perfectly after 3/4 years of soggy dogs on a daily basis).
Now that remapped de-fapped 2.2's are a no-cost option and prices are dropping, I reckon I'll get one more late, low mileage example before it's too late. I thought the SE interior looked a lot more modern when I was shopping for this one, but now I kinda like the levver, so I'd be happy with either when the time comes.

@pclarejnr - that's a good way to buy a car when you can tell it's all genuine like that. I'd like to think my cars sell for the same reason.

@Doggy - I'm not sure you can have an SE in 2.2 flavour? might be reserved for the exec's and I might also be wrong

I suppose that unless you're lucky then even a late '04 plater's gonna have about 80/90K on it so hunting around is a must :|

This one had 103k when I bought it - that doesn't worry me too much, but I didn't want to run it past 200k / 12 years
