My new purchase HDi 110

Post by LincsMatt »

Picked this up on Saturday for a cool £900 taxed and tested. Pretty clean and straight car for it's age, Couple of dents and scuffs here and there, but what can you expect? Got 136k on it, so not run in yet :P

Has a few electrcial gremlins as with all French cars, but I have made progress sorting out the none working MFD, although someone has replaced the wiper stalk with a none MFD one so I cannot cycle through the menu's which is a shame. Fuel gauge has a mind of it's own at the minute constantly reading no fuel, but does go up and down the scale as and when it feels like it, but doesn't read the true level.

Plans are to get it mapped within the next week or 2, cambelt, waterpump, tensioners etc. Drop her 40, maybe 60mm and fit some up-to-date Pug rims. I may even stick a taxi graphic on for shits and giggles ;)

Anyway, here's some pics of the boring (at the moment) thing:

check they are the same offset for peugeot

and 16" definately wont look to small, i have 15s on mine and it looks spot on,

reason i have 15s is i wanted a bigger tyre wall for comfort (thats what 406s are all about)

the only way them 16"s will look to small is if the tyre is low profile

my tyres are 205/60/15

195/65/R15 is standard for the saloon, I believe. Mine was, anyway.

Nice place to start if your thinking of modding.
