Looks very nice....
Reminds me of mjb's when ehe bought it, he described it as an item of automotive pornography IIRC.
Enjoy.

Looks weird with the colour-coded wing mirrors
I'd keep hold of that one Woody - assuming it doesn't have any major mechanical problems, it'll put a smile on your face on a daily basis!

Looks very nice. Mirrors were probably painted by a previous owner judging by the silver mountings aswell as the caps.
Any chance of getting the pics of those metal seat bases from the Rapier bench (or any other estate bench) on Ebay when you've got a few minutes?

Specced D9 with ES9J4S but pre-dating COM2000 introduction. About as good as it gets!
Not sure about those colour coded wing mirrors though. Someone obviously thought it'd be a good idea to spray 'em but I disagree...
Looks like a coupé club sticker in the back? You can probably find out its old owner(s) and search to see what work they've done or not done on it, to find out if it's a lemon or not.

I hadnt noticed the door mirrors had been painted. Never mind I can live with it as it is. Just got it taxed today, so I'll be using it for the summer now

. It's 120,000 miles, although no service history, there is loads of bills and a handful of previous m.o.t's. New Brembo Front Calipers Just had new rear wheel bearings. The paint looks totally origonal, no dints or scratches. If it has had paint at any time in it's life, it has been done to a high standard. I cant see any blow-ins anywhere. It's a mint car!

Far too good to break!

. Engine purrs beautifully, 5 speed manual gearbox is good although linkage feels a bit sloppy! All electrics work, ice cold air con 6 cd player still works in-boot. Electric leather memory seats, leather is in beatiful condion. On the dash, just a seat side airbag light illuminated on the dash when all other lights go out.
No advisories on it's last m.o.t. All the tyres have plenty of tread depth, no scuffing of the alloys, no knocks or clunks underneath, no oil leaks.
And yes it has a 406 CoupeClub.Com sticker in the nearside rear quarter window. And it would be neat to hear form any of it's previous owners.

Should pop over to the Coupe Club and enquire there. Definitely not for breaking, that one - it looks to be in superb condition.

Jesus Bloody Christ on a bicycle!
I reckon your missus owes you a few bob and/or "favours", in addition to some replacement parts! If you don't have any suitable parts in your own yard Woody, you can't do better than speaking to Ade1122 over at the
Coupe Club forums.
£40 might be pushing it, but he'll doubtless have the parts available, especially since yours is the most common colour of Coupe.

Nooo, don't break a Coupe over a little shunt like that. Ade will have the body panels in stock for getting that back on the road.
