"Griffe" means giraffe in french... It's the trim level. Was a "special" trim level in Portugal. Just don´t have electric seats(heated, but not electrical), JBL hi-fi and sat-nav...

It seems to mean either a designer label, the carved base of a column, a person of mixed American Indian and Negro blood or a claw - I wonder which Peugeot were going for :?

The French for giraffe is, err, girafe.

Not only in Portugal, apparently; http://www.tradecarview.com/specificati ... 2.0/23927/

Note ground clearance - bet they don't sell lowering springs for these.....

Well of course there's no ground clearance, it's not a bleedin' hovercraft

Just noticed that in the pic. Probably the best way to have it too. Haven't ever seen (standard fit) manual leather in any other 406.

Muito Boa tarde. reparei que a viatura tem Placa portuguesa, por isso deduzo que seja português, gostaria de saber se ainda é proprietário da viatura, e se por acaso não é da zona da Covilhã.

Obrigado

Hadn't noticed before - but it's got an oil pressure warning light, (which ours don't have). :?
