Nice, I seen it at the French Car Show.
How easy was it to fit and wire ur dvd player into the airvents? As I have mind in the normal place atm, but thinking of putting it into airvents and putting back the original head unit as well. I miss a few little thinks the original head unit does like using the stalk etc.
pic of mine.

thats where i had mine but i couldnt see it
its a bit of a pain in the but
you gotta cut and block the heater vents so you got room to slot the headunit in
the the surround cut the lil plastic strip in the middle then you gotta fibreglass
the hole u can do it with the cage in there but if u wanna reuse the cage its gonna b a bit messed up
its better to cut out the size of it after you fibreglassed it.
then its just extendin the wires i didnt have to do that as the wires on my headunit was long enuf

im guessing but its the air intake i think, hope cos if its not i now look really stooopid, dohmjb wrote:Well done mate, must have been a nuts amount of work involved with all that customisation.
Question: Why do you have an exhaust pipe in the middle of your front bumper?
if it is dont take it out in the rain cos you'll drown it like i did mine
but all paid out now so
replacment on the way soon
some people need to buy a house
I've never been to heavy into ice, now i understand engine mods and i mod them myself it makes you car go faster the principle of a car is to move you at a decent speed saely from a>b so it fills in that.
but a tv etc etc etc like why? it will never be as good as a decent home setup its likely to get nicked and you can never replicatedecent audio in a car due to airspace and sound staging.
its like using a Gourmet cheese sandwich as a door wedge yeah it does the job but its just not quite as good as a proper door wedge which probably costs less!
saying that i am doing a car pc install but that is manily for my ecu so i can do datalogging etc etc and have some music to play
and not to hot on your styling either but again each to there own i guess, im not a fan of jap styling on euro cars. Just screams "I WISH I COULD AFFORD A JAP CAR!!!" and the air intake looks stupid in my opinion
I also am not a fan of turd polishing, you made your 1.8 car look "fast" yet its anything but that :/
my opinions aside though i appreciate the time and effort thats gone into it
