Choice isn't massive. 406s (along with a few other PSA cars) have an unusually small offset.

Hi Alberto,i also like the color of your Pug.
Well, the 406 have very beautifull line, almost every rim you put on it looks amazing, that is one of the beauties of this car.

Dont worry about those fools,we also have a few specimens like that here.

you say your car is slow, give us some info about it,i always had an opinion that HDI engines 90hp had good torque power.

well, try to explain why, when i want to jump faster on the roundabout, stick first gear, car starts moving,i can put gas pedal to the end to reach more speed, but its feels like a 2 sec deelay while car collects speed fast enough, stick into second gear, same deelay,in my opinion its ok for diesel engines,i never had them before, petrol ones fast with no deelays, compared to 2 litres for example,i dont know i explained understanable for you, resume is,i tried to do wheel spin,no chance:)

Yes,i understand,i have never had 406 diesel so i dont know about its power or torque.
I have an old peugeot 309 diesel 1.9,its fast consider it is only atmospheric engine (no turbo) so i thought hdi are fast.

so you say your pug has an delay of 2 seconds, hmmm, have you tried driving other hdi,to compare with yours

If you have a chance try to drive a diesel of your frend or who, maybe its normal,i dont know since i dont drive a diesel.
I meen,my car is at mechanic and i must drive a saxo 1.1i now...its really slower than my 406 2.0 turbo :cheesy:

Would definitely either try your hand at some other ones or get someone else to try to drive yours- see if it's the car or your perception.

My 90 bhp 2.0 hdi 406 will still spin off the line if I'm in a hurry at a sneaky junction or something and can still overtake just as well as my 1.8 petrol focus.
