Pugfest 2013 pics :)
Brilliant Day and great to meet you guys
Here are some of my pics....
Early morning meet at Strensham Services.
Sonia was still being a bit obseessive about cleaning her car!
Someone's following us Sam!!
Now someone else is following us!!
So here's the initial line-up before it was ruined by someone mooring a beemer on the end of the line...
The guys found a perch to watch the hill climbs.
I've got hundreds of photos of stuff going up the hill, but here a couple of my favorites.
This bloke managed to ruin his RCZ, lost all drive on the hairpin and had to roll it back down
Sam was the first of our gang to have a go, I'm sure he'll admit to being a little cautious in places...
You've got a brake light out Sam!
Next up was Mike, gave it some beans! Not very cautious at all
Then it was Kelvin's go...
Then the Dogmobile hit the hill.
Sonia took Miss Pug up too!
Eric Preparing for his 2nd run, very kindly took me along for a ride too, cheers mate!
Like I said, that's just a small sample of the pics I took today. Was a great day out, thanks to everyone who showed up

The fun started almost as soon as I set off. I followed this to Newbury: Y-plate LX trim HDi the same colour as me. He followed me onto the M4 but I was faster. An accidental convuoy.

Marvellous set of pictures, Dai. Thanks for posting them.
It was a great day, many thanks to Sam and everyone else who made it work so well.
Don't think we'd be too upset to see a few more [/hint]DaiRees wrote:Brilliant Day and great to meet you guys

Re: Pugfest 2013 pics :)
I didn't get too many pics, but here goes:
The line up -
and again
and again
but here's what sets us apart from other Pug clubs.
Our very own Dai Rees and his 406oc sticker fitting service.
(Seen here ennobling my humble chariot).
..and admiring the finished result
(I told him to stick one on the Bimmer too, but it was clearly unworthy).
Next up, Gingermagic's steed gets the Rees treatment.
Class, or what?

Re: Pugfest 2013 pics :)
I just checked and my video is 1:07 and Doggy's is 1:05 to the finish line.
That 2.2 really should be a lot more than 3% faster than the 90, and it certainly felt better than my run. I don't understand
Anyway, here it is:
WBQrZrRXi_w
Or at least it would be

Re: Pugfest 2013 pics :)
Lush pics everyone, I have tonnes to edit and will get them up asap for you all to see.
As for you Eric, it's funny because someone else did the hill and was so considerate enough to indicate. It was then pointed out to me that I didn't have to indicate.
However Eric was like, I shall use those darn things
Lovely meet, I thoroughly enjoyed myself - thanks guys. Looking forward to the next meet.

I timed Doggy's 2nd run at 1:02.9 so he was getting quickerrwb wrote:I just checked and my video is 1:07 and Doggy's is 1:05 to the finish line.

Re: Pugfest 2013 pics :)
A big ' thank you ' to everyone who came today.
Sam for kinda organising it, Dai for his sticker and photo service, Eric for supplying BBQ and stuff, Alberto for the lovely food and everyone else for the great company and for making my first Pugfest a very enjoyable day...
Its always nice to be able to put a face to a name
Same time next year? ( not the hill-climb, that will be quicker.... )

Re: Pugfest 2013 pics :)
I've sussed it - on the first run, I folded the armrest up, then grabbed 5th instead of 3rd off the line.DaiRees wrote:I timed Doggy's 2nd run at 1:02.9 so he was getting quickerrwb wrote:I just checked and my video is 1:07 and Doggy's is 1:05 to the finish line.

Forgot to fold it up second time round, so didn't miss any cogs.
Conclusive proof, armrests are the secret of quick times.
