And just when I thought it was all sorted, I was greeted by this on Sunday morning:

Its definately an improvement to the old tailgate! The tyre has been going flat all week, I think a run up the motorway just finished it off! When I was on the way home my engine management light came on with the 'antipollution fault' so I opened the bonnet when I got home, and it went away, strange.

Do you still have your old tailgate and if so, does it have a good, clean screen?

I wonder if it's practical to buy it off you?

Where abouts are you located and how much would you want for it?

I am in Barnes, SW13, I dont want anything for it, as I was just going to scrap it. You could collect it or arrange collection, or depending on how urgently you need it, I could bring it to a meet in the near future? I will not be at the RAF cosford meet, but im not sure after that. Phil.

Thanks very much for your kind offer :D

I'll see if I can work out collection or whether it will wait until a meet that you might be going to.

Thank you.

John.

I have been using 'Paisley Freight' to send various car parts - it is £25 to send a complete tailgate. Their service is excellent and an easy to use website.

Hope this helps....

If I come up the M3 then off up the M1 is there somewhere convenient we could meet for me to pick it up.

That would be great, Richard, would you be able to get it in your car?
