Looks nice ( for now.. )

I'm amazed you got a hosepipe that deep in the woods...

How do you get on with the cone filter? Any complications regarding engine heat and drawing in hot air?

I was tempted to do the same, but went for a K&N panel filter instead.

It don't make any differance on a turbo charged car ginger as the nice cold air is being sucked through a RED HOT TURBO
what matters is how well it's cooled on the way from the turbo to the intake (a quality intercooler) helps :cheesy:

We live in Devon countryside, so the main plus of the cone filter is to avoid any water ingress in the winter floods! Which it does. :P
I got a couple more pics today (before the winter really messes up my clean car  )

I think this is the nicest 406 interior, nicer than the full leather.

I'm thinking of getting a bonnet bra- stone chips are presumably the cause of the rust you commonly see on 406's bonnets. What's the consensus? Ugly or cool? :?:

I think a bonnet bra might be a bit cringe-worthy on a 406, best left to the Max Power boys in their Honda Shitvics.

Don't the bonnets rust from the inside? something to do with a weak seam and a water trap, or something.

I reckon bonnet bras look hideous but I'm willing to accept it might just be down to personal preference. D9 406 bonnets rust from the inside on the seam at the front of the bonnet, either down to poor rustproofing along the seam or maybe because the bonnet can flex which cracks the paint/sealant.

Looks like mine's going from the inside out too. No point in putting a bra on the outside then! Maybe just a new bonnet when the time comes.
