I would like to share my short history

This is my third 406, I bought It in January 2019 and I've been trying to get him back to his full strenght ever sine then

From the beginning...

Inspection day in DE:


















Purchase





I decided to renovate the top of the engine:



























What has been done:

• Head overhaul

• New OE thermostat housing

• New engine pulley [FEBI]

• New DMF and clutch [LUK]

• New shaft seal

• New timing belt and accesory belt

• New engine oil, gearbox oil, oil filter, fuel filter, air filter

• New glow plugs

• alternator, starter, turbocharger, all injectors and injection pump regeneration

Next I changed the car upholstery to Sport Pack:

Absolutely fantastic - well done.

It's a very popular colour...

Some of those modifications have been done before but not all on one car, it looks excellent.

Did you retrofit the headlight washers too, I see the jets on the bumper....

The boot lighting looks good - there is a perfect space for lights on n the tailgate ( I had a friend that fitted a shower in his - for washing off his wetsuit after surfing.. )

No kidding...

Thanks a lot My bumper was originally damaged, I bought a second one with headlight washers before painting and I replace the tank/washer reservoir. I'm going to modify my headlights and install lenses, but i don't know when...

Amazing amount of work, imagination and excellent results, well done.

You could do with a bit more power to go with those brakes and other modifications.

I'm going to change original programin ECU but first I have to install more efficient intercooler (from SAAB 9-3 2.0 t - I have even bought it already) and modify injectors. Before that, I have to check the efficiency of the turbocharger and install 6-speed gearbox from Peugeot 508
