Oh look, there's a forum for photos. Look it even mentions photobucket (where's the "banging head against wall" emoticon?)

Yes, I know the D8's springs are sagging. Hitting stuff like curbs and speedbumps all the time was the reason I didn't want another 406, until I went round a few carparks with a tape measure - get away from my car with that!

Phwoar! What a pair!!

Notice anything strange? (Apart from my hairy legs reflected in the door...)

Well, there is that of course... In the UK a left hooker is quite a common sight of course, here a right hooker is a bit of a rarety. When I first got here I was driving an old UK reg transit, the game was for the passenger to put his hands over his face when there was oncoming traffic, and maybe lean out the window and scream. We got some very strange looks...

The handbrake actually holding the car in one place? ...oh.. you're in gear, so not that..

Nice pics. It's great to see a D8 next to a D9 and play spot the difference. I never realised they decided to move the indicators a few inches up for instance
What's that on the side of the drivers seat?

Manual height adjustment. Handy for wee folk to see over the dash

Precisely.

Not that I'm aware of. I was actually seeing if anyone screamed "what the fux that?", I'd never even looked at a 406 in the UK so I was wondering if there were any major cosmetic differences or anything. Other than that, yes, it's left hand drive, although I can reverse the pics if this makes anyone unhappy.
Yep, handbrake on (about 8 clicks...), in gear and on a level serface, it's not going anywhere. Actually, having reverse alongside first, instead of fifth, is confusing me a bit. I'm used to looking down and seeing it's in first before driving away, sometimes this one's in reverese instead and I get a bit of a surprise... Must make the damn handbrake work and break this filthy leaving-it-in-gear habit!
