With the engine left standard we have seen that model doing monster mileages even if you horribly neglect the servicing (ahem...member 'mjb') all in all they become a pretty cheap car to run overall.

"horribly" neglect? I'd go more for "hideously", "recklessly" or "stupidly" myself Over 100,000 miles without a cambelt change (about 175k on the clock now) but I'm in the new job now though so this payday I'll treat it...

The turbo's a fantastic engine with a fantastic car wrapped around it. Feed it only BP standard stuff and it'll love you Just don't take it to Kwik-sh*t for an exhaust... or anything else for that matter...

(pics will be on soon) the one in the pictures has gone to scrapyard heaven .. my gearbox packed up.. so i had a new one put in an it didnt run the same then i stuffed it up a wall so i decided to part with it!! i was mega gutted!!! so you are guna have to help me with my new turbo!!!
