I would like to know if my 1.8cc motor have any chances to be in a Mod program :cheesy:

...what i'm trying to say is, i want to Mod my 1.8cc, but i am not a really good mechanic guy so...i'm asking you guys what would you change in this 1.8 cc motor :cheesy: (please).

I would like to have more Hp and more Binary.

I already have a K&N air filter and a good (and legal) exhaust system, In Portugal the laws are very restricted in this kind of things... :(

p.s - Sorry, but my english is not one of the bests... lol

Welcome Mendonça! :cheesy: That's a beautiful looking Pug (I am a big fan of the estate  ) that colour really seems to suit the D9.

One question: how many kilometers has your car travelled since the LPG conversion?

Another I answered for myself:

Hola, Welcome to the club :D

Very nice looking 406 you have there, seems to be in excellent condition for it's age. They look really good in that colour, nice mods too. 8)

Sorry I don't know about moding the engine.

Hi, i've travelled about 32.000km. The LPG was installed at May 2007. It's fine! I don't know if it's normal but, my pug have a better performance riding in LPG that in Gasoline 95 octanes. :?

It's very economic in LPG, i can get about 675Km with one deposite of LPG (+/-35€) driving in the Highway (smooth condution), driving in the city the best i have got was 465Km with one deposite on LPG.

LPG Price in Portugal:

(capital Lisbon)
GALP: 0.721€/L
BP: 0.718€/L
REPSOL: 0.716€/L (i usually get a 0.04€/L discount)

Best Regards

So you're getting about 7.2 l/100km (39mpg), not too bad for a petrol but running on LPG it doesn't get much cheaper! (Extends search to 1.8 D8...)

That looks brilliant! good pictures.

The estate looks much more modern and popular than the saloon.

Love the windows and like what you've done with the exhaust tip, very sensible.

I've just noticed the black bump strips are colour coded! they're not normally like that in the UK?

Sorry m8 but you're wrong :? compare de L/100km of LPG and de Gasoline 95, then see the price per Liter in my country, finishing... make the Math

Best regards
