The new car

Post by bangernom1cs »

The new car that has replaced my old 450k d8 (which i still miss! and appears in the sloshing sills thread) , a nice shiny 2002 executive estate.
So far so good but still getting used to some of its electrical foibles!
Will probably appear frequently when post job topics!
New wing already purchased ready for fitment as has slight dent which for some reason doesnt show on photobucket . And, having gone through the sills saga, a new set of genuine mudlaps to go on some time soon.

I think your monitor's having issues mate, I can see the "dent". Looks like you've let me have a go at "gently" tapping out a small dent in it... with a 4lb lump hammer
<steve_earwig> I think this forum is more about keeping our cars going with minimal outlay than giving our cars more reason to go bang

I reckon it's either the same colour as Dai's or it's the same as mine.

It's a light blue metallic (on this monitor anyway, so it could be green of course. Or grey.)

I think the electricians here must be colour blind. Either that or there is no colour code, just the first wire that comes to hand :x
