Newly Modded RED 406 1.8i

Post by oobumblebeeoo »

My gorgeous girl......

Bodywork modding + spraying cost me £120, spoiler cost me £15, exhaust £50, lowering gmax 40mm springs £61 (good deal).

Compressing springs is scary, will pay someone to have it done next time me thinks!!!

This is really weird, where you've parked there oposite the junction I'm sure I've seen a Black 406 on here posted in the exact same spot ages ago? :?

Anyhoo nice work and nicely selected wheels too.

ooo, why not paint the calipers a classy gloss black (please not Red etc).

I'm sure the old picture was taken opposite a large public grassy area, the one above has someone's front garden in the corner

dogslife - cheers mate, walked into this with my eyes shut, done a few more bits since, will repost soon.

teamster1975 - cheers bud, that's not my garage either! Mine is out on the road, what's up with your bodywork?

mjb - It's near a Rec' near my mate

welly - lol, god knows???

coopster - middle part of the grill went, when you take this off, the badge comes off with it, thing is, it leaves a lovely in-dent in the top of your bumber that needs filling, spraying ECT..... so that's where the work came in.
Are you going to get someone to lower it for you or do the springs yourself (lairy!) :|

Yeah cool, the guy who actually did the work used part of the grill in the indent the debadge leaves in the bumper (if you know what I mean)... He cut it down to fill the gap so he never had to fill it all with filler.

Think he said he screwed and epoxyed it in, then done some minor filling, then done the clever task of putting the line in the bumper... you'll see what I mean later.

Hope you have fun man =]

It's been side swiped on both sides, I've got a nice ripple effect across all four doors & the rear quarter panels :(
I'd like to get it fixed, the engine is still young and it drives like new (now i've fixed the suspension!!)
