Its no match for a T5 in fuel consumption thats for sure! 25mpg if Im lucky! (but boy is it fun)

Its pretty fast 0-60 in sub 6 secs and 150mph. Best thing is the handling though, just endless amounts of grip wet or dry.

I test drove a V70R while that was indeed fast, the scoob would eat it alive. I do like the V70s though especially the facelift ones. Will consider one for my next car in 18 months ish.

It's been 3 years? Wow... Nice to hear from you mate! :)

What happened to your '6 anyway? I remember you breaking it, but can't recall why...

In a nutshell, myself and a 'mechanic' fitted a 205 GTi cam. It ran fine for a day or 2 then the belt slipped a couple of splines so he turned up with a trailer to take it away...... Cut a long story short it fell off the trailer and ended up in a ditch on its side. T'was a fine motor. :(

Yeah you got me there on the grip :)

It's an S40 T5 (as per Focus ST type thing) I don't hoon around in it....more of a stealthy cruiser 8)

Yeah the UK turbos are 220bhp standard, the WRX's are 240 and the STi's 280. (old shape)

Mines been played with, Ive got coilovers, titanium exhaust, 100 cell cat with decat middle pipe, HKS airfilter, runs about 15 psi of boost which means about 240bhp give or take. Best thing is the weight... Even the hatchback weighs 1250kg! Which is like a rizla paper compared to my old 1440kg Passat!!
