lowered suspension
hi guys had my 406 110 hdi for a while and just started to modify it over the last month or so lowered the car 40mm last week but the back end seems higher than the front end its just sitting on standard steel wheels the now and also has a modified laguna splitter on the front any ideas why the cars sitting high up at the back its about 15 mm lower than standard right height on the back

Re: lowered suspension
Its because there isn't any weight at the back of the car to settle the springs, the front end has the weight of the engine to compress them. They will settle down over time but the chances are the back will always be a bit higher than the front.modified406 wrote:hi guys had my 406 110 hdi for a while and just started to modify it over the last month or so lowered the car 40mm last week but the back end seems higher than the front end its just sitting on standard steel wheels the now and also has a modified laguna splitter on the front any ideas why the cars sitting high up at the back its about 15 mm lower than standard right height on the back

Re: lowered suspension
get a couple of bags of cement or some thing heavy and put them in a boot for a few weeks, it helps a bit
