Tyre Rotation

You carnt have them changed round as they wouid wear out in secounds.
If theyre paired on the same Axle whats the problem idont see any ?

if they was both on one side of the car it wouid pull you into ever bump /ditch on the road,

Any tyre fitter will tell you tyres are best fitted in pairs,
ordinary tyres it doesnt matter much but with a Tread pattern like them it wouid ,

Can't you see that one of the patterns is in the wrong direction if both tyres are mounted on the same axis?

I agree that mounting both in line with different tyres is wrong, but mounting them on the same axis is wrong as much.
Swapping one wheel inside/out isn't useful as well, as the curved pattern must be on the inside of the wheel.

You could use them both on the front, as suggested, but I wouldn't feel comfortable with it. I would just buy new tyres and sell those.

Maybe "IF" they were designed to throw water a certain direction
then maybe the offside to throw water into the car, and the nearside to throw water towards the kerb, hereby not throwing the water at other motorists?????

Never heard anything like this, sounds unlikely to me.

Gary, post up the tyre brand and type so we can see what the manufacturer says

I'd be up for sticking them on the front, as they have better turning capabilities than the others "in theory" - more rigid block providing less movement of the tread pattern under cornering loads
I still say, it is just "one of those things"
as said tyre manufacturers don't make a left and right handed tyre at this level

Dunlops wasn't it - just checked Gaz's 1.9 thread
Just been on dunlop site and found tyres similar in tread pattern and no mention of being sided

ok since this thread as gone crazy i thought i would inspect the tyres properly (which i should of done before i fitted)

anyway . waue is perfectly correct . i've just spotted on the 2 front tyres (which are the ones i was worried about)
the OUTSIDE print so i know they are correct

the tyres are fitted as in the picture like this

THIS IS THE CORRECT WAY TO FIT THEM ON THE SAME AXLE

and i know for a fact my back 2 DUNLOP SP SPORT 2020E are correct because they dont have OUTSIDE printed on the side walls and these tyres tread is same way no matter which way you turn or twist them.

also was on a job today in preston. and the car on the drive had dunlop spsport 2020e tyres on the back and was the same way mine are
