Alloy wheels. ?

Just got a set of nice alloys, to refurb,
Got told they will fit my car but they wont,

idont even know what theyve come off tbh but these are Unusual,
on the inside there as a Stamp ET 10 no other Marks, or stamps,
anyone got an idea of what theyre off or Will actualy fit?

There 17s on lowprofiles, Multi fit *8 holes,
ipresume these are Ment for 4 stud not 5 such as Toyota, vw vaux etc,

any ideas,

Found another stamp ET 38.

makers name is Smiths so im presuming , there off a Mini or something or even honda /rover etc being of a british name,

deffo for a 4 stud car, the chap says there Multi fit coz they have 8holes, but that dont mean theyl fit 5 stud,
iwill get them on Ebay and find another set

ET38 is the offset of the wheels. The PCD as stated is the diameter of the bolt holes, measured from centre to centre of bolt holes.

There are 3 main PCD's for 4 stud cars. 4x100 (VW, Rover, Honda, Vauxhall, Renault, etc, etc), 4x108 (Ford, CItroen, Peugeot) and 4x114.3 (All other Jap cars). A lot of multifit 4 stud wheels are 4x100 and one of the other 2. If the bolt holes won't line up correctly, then you've got 4x100 and 4x114.3 PCD wheels and unless you get some hub adaptors (which you could do as you would need 20mm spacers anyway to get the offset upto about ET18) you'll never get the wheels to bolt on.

Stick a pic or 2 up and I should be able to tell you some more about the wheels. Smiths are a make and were sold in Halfords about 10 years ago. Weren't the best sellers TBH.

Your correct them ones are a Million miles away. there Deffo for a Honda, me thinks,

ineed some wheels off a, Merc. Golf, Audi, to fit 5 stud Toyota,

Yep, those ones are deffo 4 stuf only. Most universal wheels will only fit a majority of either 4 stud if there's 8 bolt holes, and 5 stud cars if there's 10 holes. You do get a few wheels which will truely fit either 4 or 5 stud, but these are very few and far between.

The Celica's are 5x100 so are the most common 5 stud fitment, and like you say Golfs and a lot of other cars (Subarus, etc) use 5x100 stud pattern so getting hold of some shouldn't be a problem. Those Smiths are old wheels, can't remember the name atm, but will try and find it. I reckon they're probably at least a decade old, but measure the stud holes before you put them on eBay so people can work out whether they'll fit their cars. From the looks of it, I'd reckon they're 4x100 and 4x108 from centre of bolt hole to centre of opposite bolthole.

id say there a good 10 -14 yrs old,
tyres are good on them too low-profiles, there usable if i pick up a set of 17"rims with no tyres,

Ive got some old school MoMos on my old merc imight just see if theyl fit the celica,
