Hi All,
To keep costs down, could someone help advise me on exactly what tools I need to do a full front and rear disc and pad change to my 2.1TD Exec saloon (97)
I have a wide array of standard sockets but I understand that hex and torx bits are required....which I don't have in large sizes.
I have the discs, pads etc. and have ordered a 1/2 inch torque drive 30-210nm.
Also, would anyone have the torque setting data for all the bolts involved please?
Also, will I need to wind back the pistons on front/rear or both....it's a full ABS model with electronic variable power steering.
Anything else I should be aware of? before I start?
Thanks
Dave

Hi & welcome to the forum.
Have a look at this: viewtopic.php?f=27&t=13560&hilit=handbrake+shoes
Sorry it's a bit lengthy, but certainly has some of the info you need.
There's more useful stuff in the Knowledge Base.......
