The front droplink has gone on the drivers, once again it was replaced in december the time the spring broke and destroyed the old one but its out of 'the other motor factors' who do a questionable quality drop link which i think explains why its went so early, but i think ill just go and get genuine peugeot droplinks in the hope they will last a bit longer. For the moment there is the clunking sound up front.
Now the back has started sounding like an old car trailer going over a bumpy road, i assume the bushings in the back somewhere, but what ones normally go, are they the ones that hold the rear axle assembly to the car?

Seconded, you'll end up with a lot of wear on the tyre shoulder if these are sloppy!jasper5 wrote:Check the upper horizontal link rods for play.
Also check the condition of the ARB bushes.

Re: A plethora of noises
I went looking for a pair of new droplinks and seen these on ebay:

4 years between changing droplinks. It sounds too good to be true

Pricey but the four year warranty looks interesting (read the small print!)

Re: A plethora of noises
There are also D-shaped anti-roll bar bushes at the back and these suffer wear/play and give an annoying rattle/clonk.
Trouble is the one on the fuel-cap side is a PITA to get to, some have had to lower the fuel tank and/or the filler neck assembly just to get room for the spanners
