Rear Brake calipers

Post by notajeep »

I had the normal seized pins (that the caliper is supposed to slide on) and after much swearing I have manged to remove and free the pin in qestion.
However in doing so I have damaged the rubber seals that "protect" them from the element to prevent siezing (LOL)
Are these rubber available?
If not, and I end up swapping the caliper (2nd hand unit) are all rear brake calipers the same around this age vehicle? it's a 2001, 2.2hdi estate, or do I need a like for like model?

Brake Parts usually sell caliper rebuild kits which include all the rubber seals.
