alloy wheel question

gary i know that theres more than likely a set of decent pug alloys floating about somewhere that cost less, but I'm after something a lot different to what most folk will fit , and my insurance knows im planning on fitting non standard alloys as Ive gone with adrian flux

I'm with you sidb, must be growin old, but I don't like these ultra-low profile tyres either.. I mean, look at Formula 1, their tyres must be at least 65-profile Was running my Jag X-type 2.2diesel ( )on the standard 225/40 x 18 wheels it came on, but within a year had cracked 2 wheels and buckled 1, just cos of potholes.. Got set of cheapo 16's with 205/55 tyres, no problems since. Not enough air to cushion you, I reckon. Only had 1 burst tyre, it was the wheels that weren't man enough for our roads

well i havent brought the white wheels i was planning on

found a set of 16" coupe wheels at the right price welll to be honest theyve cost me a couple of bottles of highland park single malt, should be collecting them on saturday

Aye Bob,maybe an age thing but i would'nt go as far as to call these strips we drive on roads.....no, they have those in the third world country's we send aid to,ours are just pretending to be roads so's the government has an excuse to steal "road fund duty" as they call it from us
