Re: Lowering a 406
im from n.i to and my car is on 306 coilovers in the front and focus back springs have alot of problems with speed bumps (getting stuck) but as for the law as long as your not on the bumpstops and there is travel in the suspension your fine (over here anyway) but i will b the firist to admit it is far to low atm and is being raised up to 55mm springs all round
Re: Lowering a 406
had my vtr lowered years ago and the result.......CRAP!
it might look better but believe me,if you've got pot-holes where you live,or speed humps or just shitty roads in general, you'll regret it in the end!
DONT DO IT¬!!!especially to a 406!it'd kill your car,i imagine

Re: Lowering a 406
im from ni and i have mine lowered 65 mm on springs and bump stops removed
and she doesnt rub any more maybe thats due to the splash gaurd being removed lol i will admit it has compromised the comfort factor greatly but it does look pretty good

Re: Lowering a 406
if the coupe is lower than the saloon models, how about using the coupe front suspension? I wonder if the front lower arms are different to correct the camber.
