im from n.i to and my car is on 306 coilovers in the front and focus back springs have alot of problems with speed bumps (getting stuck) but as for the law as long as your not on the bumpstops and there is travel in the suspension your fine (over here anyway) but i will b the firist to admit it is far to low atm and is being raised up to 55mm springs all round

had my vtr lowered years ago and the result.......CRAP!
it might look better but believe me,if you've got pot-holes where you live,or speed humps or just shitty roads in general,you'll regret it in the end!
DONT DO IT¬!!!especially to a 406!it'd kill your car,i imagine

im from ni and i have mine lowered 65 mm on springs and bump stops removed :cheesy: and she doesnt rub any more maybe thats due to the splash gaurd being removed lol i will admit it has compromised the comfort factor greatly but it does look pretty good

am lookin til drop my 406 but 60mm lowering springs are far to dear so was thinkin of fiting 306 struts nd saxo 60's but was wonderin wat othr springs a could put in th back til put her rite and low?

Does anyone know the difference between D8 & D9 suspension :?:
98, Executive turbo estate in aluminum silver. The stealth wagon! Now departed, New project Xsara VTR-8 in progress, Next Project, 406 D8 / JAP. So will be looking for a 406 again when the xsara is done!

if the coupe is lower than the saloon models, how about using the coupe front suspension? I wonder if the front lower arms are different to correct the camber.
