No probs mate, let me weigh it and I'll let you know how much to post it.

So it's all done and back, here's the final breakdown of costs:

Back Plates from Peugeot, 2X £93.43 = 186.86
Hub bearings from local motor factor, 2X £36 = £72
Brakes (discs, pads and h/brake shoes) from ebay = 68.60
Handbrake cables from local motor factor = 25
Service replacement caliper from local motor factor = £83
Brake Fluid = £6
Labour = £90

Total = £531.46 :cry: :cry:

To be fair, having seen how much time he spent on it I reckon the labour charge is a bargain, I'm so glad I didn't take that job on myself or the car would still be in bits in my drive... :supafrisk:
Dread to think what a job like that would cost at a Stealer :evil: :evil: :evil:

Ouch!

All in all I guess you've done well to get that completed without it costing you more, labour does seem reasonable and it would indoubtedly have taken you longer to DIY. Good call.
2002 HDi 2.2 Exec Estate, (2008-12) (wonderful)
2003 HDi 2.2 6-speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)
2009 Citroen C5 2.0 HDi VTR+ Estate (godawful heap)
2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)

Thank you very much Dai 8)
Even though it had a new hub, I think I better get a new one just in case then as they don't like being taken off i'd heard - although my mate works at a motor factors, so could see if he'll do me sale or return :lol:

I have to agree with the others though, I think you've done well on the labour charges, as that sounds incredibly cheap for the work involved.

Can't say i'm looking forward to the job though, as with a fubar'd back plate, the clips that hold the handbrake shoes in place keep dropping out :(
I've got a slight noise there at the moment, and not sure if it's one of the clips fell out again, or the fact that the shoes could be rubbing on the hub, and have warped the disc with the heat :cry:
