Pulling into cambers?

Post by Bailes1992 »

Is it normal for 406's to pull into cambers? Ecspecially when braking? It dosent do it normally but as soon as theres a bit of camber it pulls?

I always found the 406 to be good at 'ploughing through' any crap road surface/camber nice and straight.

Pulling left/right under braking would suggest a lazy caliper to me - a brake 'wash' and copper slip in all the right places should put this right but if the discs/pads are crappy then it's a bit of a waste of time.

Bad tyres can cause tramlining on certain roads, I thought the best tyre suited to the 406 was the Goodyear NCT5.

Well I got one low tyre and one good one. It pulls towards the good tyre. My breaks are low so I'l get them sorted asap. Ordered the breaks last night anyway. Mintex pads and Brembo Discs :)

BRAKES :frown: :frown: :frown:

Once you have good tyres on it'd be an idea to get the tracking checked out, both ends.

one good tyre and one worn one will make it pull toward the good one as it has more rolling resistance than yer slick one
