d8/d9 shocks

Quick question here. Are the shocks interchangeable between the d8s and d9s. More specifically will the 1.9 td d8 shocks fit in 2.0hdi d9?

Pretty sure I've got D9 shocks on the front of my D8. 99% certain that they are the same part number, but I'll check on ServiceBox later on if I remember once the match has finished.

Already checked the parts numbers and they're different ...ive never properly understood them. 
lol... but diagrams look very similer. Im the same id say 99% sure they would fit but just havent done it myself to confirm it.
