I've heard that Saxo front springs may fit in the rear of the 406, but I haven't given it a proper check myself.

I know 306 front struts are used with standartd 306 springs to lower the front of a 406. But then 306 use a rear torsion beam? Hmmm :(

i read saxo springs fit the rear of the 406 but dont wont to waste 40 quid on a set of 60mm springs if they dont fit

There's fitting and then there's able to support the weight. I reckon they'd probably just bottom out straight away with the weight of a 406 on them

Not too sure whether they'd bottom out as they support the front end of the saxo with the weight in and the lighter back end of the 406, so they'd probably to be more or less the same. From memory though, I'm sure the saxo front springs are much larger diameter than the rear springs on the 406. Coilovers are the way to go, or air ride if you've got far too much money.
