FRONT COIL SPRINGS

Hello,
have recently replaced both front coil springs. Did not use Peugeot springs, used Spurious parts made by KYB Europe. The cars wheel arches are now about 4/4.5 inches above the tyres, the KYB part numbers match for the Peugeot 406 Hdi model and year, yet the car looks a little odd now they are fitted. Have had the job re-checked by another mechanic, could find nothing wrong in the way they were fitted. Anyone recommend spurious springs or must they be Peugoet O/E to cure this problem?
Thanks for any replies,
regards,
Tonyredz.

I've been looking at the KYB coil spring catalogue and it does seem very confused, I guess the probability is that they're the springs for a V6/2.1td.

If they're not put me down for a full set :cheesy:

I had the same issue when replacing my springs, but as said above, give a little time and they'll settle down

Was hoping they would settle, replaced the springs about 7/8 weeks ago, & they've not moved at all..
