Hi there I have been having an itermitent problem with my Pass/Side rear hand brake drum(siezing on). I have been told that even though I have disks front and rear I also have a drum brake for the hand brake. The thing is I am looking on the internet for the correct part and all I seem to be able to find is shoe's for the rear drum. Is this correct is there no pad's inside of the drum or am I being thick. It just dose not seem right to me.
Please can someone help.

There are small shoes inside the drum.
From
GSF:
631PC0160 HANDBRAKE SHOES 406 WITH REAR DISCS FROM CHASSIS 80012041>RP07646 (1997) 25.85
All 406s with rear disks have the same part, even the coupes. You should be able to pick these up from any factor (but watch for them giving shoes for the other sort

)

take of wheel
undo the 2 grub screws
remove brake drum
and all is reveled
think you might have to remove the caliper so you can remove the drum,or you might be able to renove the pads to get the clearance

Shoes are the pads for drum brakes
See my rear brake howto.
