No folks im not being a pervert before you asl lol.
I have a 406 HDI 90 Estate and i dont know if its withthe bad weather and snow etc that were haveingbut the rear end of the puggy seems to me to be very sloppy and feels like its slightly wandering about even on a long section of road?
I was wondering if any of you fellow 406 owners have had this issue at all and wondering if its springs, shockers or is there arear anti roll bar that the bushes may need replaced?
All help will be greatfully taken on thought
Tony

no im not getting that, the back end only slides out in the direction im not going if and only if i turn in very hard and let out the accelerator, or pull the handbrake, all on the private roads round the farm dont do this on the public road its dangerous.

could be the rear droplinks, mine were replaced for the mot, cheap as chips to have changed and the car did feel slightly more composed.

Hey there Tony - Yes my '03 406 Estate has similar symptoms; diagnosed as
worn rear trailing arm bushes.
Just trying to work out how difficult a job it would be to replace these, as they can be sourced from a particular auction website for peanuts!
Alternatively they also stock complete unit's with the bushes already pressed in which might be easier to fit ?
Anyone done these who could offer more expertise please?

£30 it cost for the rear droplinks in my saloon that was the parts, and the fitting.

How easy is the job to do for a home job?
