Front Springs

are the springs on a 1.9 and 2.1 td the same ?

my car had new springs 12 months ago and it still looks like a 4x4 at the front

doesnt seem to be droppin

could the guy who did them put wrong springs on ie for the 2.1 ??

Mines the same mate,
its very high on the front and it feels rock hard on the bumps,
think imight lower-mine this summer

The ones previously on your car "may" have been on there for a decade, and gradually lost some strength and height over time, hence why the car is sitting higher than previously.

I think you have to assume that if you fit new springs your car "is" going to be higher
and such if you don't want this, you have to opt for lowered springs as the replacement

Mine dropped a tad after new springs but that was them just settling I think, but definately still higher than previously

The 2.1 springs are the same as the V6 'cos it's a heavy old lump. I had new springs put on the front of my 2.1 as they'd sagged and it kept hitting stuff. I think afterwards it was a couple of cm higher than my HDi, maybe less, nothing you'd notice anyway.
