Do I need to take hub off to take the drive shaft off to change the engine mount rubber or can I get it off with the car on the ramps? I know you need to undo those two little nuts and the three larger nuts that secures the bracket for the lower engine mount to the back of the block (and the movement restrictor) but read on Honest John that you can undo the 2 little 11mil nuts and 'pop' the driveshaft off - but didn't give any more details...

Any info appreciated

The hubs can stay put, but you do need to remove the 35mm hub nut and separate the drop link, lower arm and track rod from the hub carrier in order to get it away from the driveshaft. Not a fun job but at least you don't have an ES9J4 V6 - you would have to add "unbolt the steering rack and drop the subframe" to the list if you did...
