is my car the only one like this

also there is no adjusters what so ever on the rear shoes,
the only way ican slacken off or tighten the cable is from the rear of the car near the tank,

nope it hasnt got any of them adjusters
and once the console is out there is a thick rubber housing covering everything
all ican see is the top of the cable going into a locking point no threaded adjustment bolt
on the rear hubs theres no cogged /toothed adjusters

I think someone else (Teamy?) said their cable only had one adjuster. Did you take the disks off to check for the adjusters there? If they really don't exist then perhaps some one's done something devious with a mechano set

Perhaps you can just adjust all the play out with what you've got so the shoes are just skimming the insides of the disks and call it a day.

cheers mate,
trouble is icarnt get enough slack to get the discs off,
on the inside around the handbrake lever there is a big Rubber thing it all slots into place
with this on there was no Access-around the handbrake so iremoved the console,
all ifound was a slot with the end of the handbrake cable showing and a pegged part to stop the cable coming out of place,
at first i thought arh feck someones been in there and Snapped the end of the cable adjuster off but they havent ,
this thing is definatly anti-tamper may be peugeot have done this
the brake shoes where done by apeugeot dealer the last time they was changed so they carnt ave been Bodged surely

Slacken the adjusters under the discs then use a lever and a rubber mallet. Swear lots, and consider replacing the shoes+discs if the shoes have worn a groove into the discs
