Brembo brake conversion?

Just being nosey, had a google and a search on here and didn't get any answers.
I know it's not worth it just curious.
But how easy is the brake conversion?
What needs to be swapped over?
How much should you expect to pay for all the kit?
And would they fit under normal 16" alloys, nimrods etc.
Bailes.

Put the brake pads in backwards for that authentic Brembo sound!

I will now answer the only part of your post that I have any idea about at all

They will fit under "Hoggar" alloys; all Hoggars are 16in and have the necessary clearance to allow them to fit over the bigger disc/caliper setup. Hoggars are a good choice because they were fitted to late-model saloons too (easier to slip under the insurance radar).
They will also fit under "Nautilus" alloys (from "Silver & Black" and "Settan'Anni" special edition Coupes), and under the 16in version of the original "Starfish" alloy from the Coupe as well.
No idea about the 16in "Nimrod" alloys found on the saloons/estates though. Hoggars and Nimrods are of a similar visual style. If OdinEidolon hasn't bought all of them from Ade1122, then I'm sure he could find a good set for you.
Now you just need to get a 406 to stick them on

When I picked up the coupe wheels at the weekend I was informed they should be a straight swap, which makes sense I guess, the PCD is the same and if you have the wheels to accomodate it I can't see why not. (I was actually tempted to ask how much he wanted for them)
In a similar vein (which I know more about) you can fit the brakes from a Nissan Pulsar GTI-R pretty easily onto a Micra for the same reasons!

406 brakes squeel anyway
My Focus brakes are terrible for squelling! Have to take them apart, file a chamfer and copper grease them every few thousand miles! They've been squeeling for a while now though but I'm too lazy to sort it
I quite like the thought of having Brembo brakes but the standard 406 brakes are superb anyway

Pretty sure, I do wonder if it's because of all the chemicals I clean the alloys with. I know Welly has the same problem.

You could be onto something there guys - either mine never squeal, or the dirt build-up deadens the noise.
