abs light

my abs light is on changed front pads and discs and rear pads and had a new offside driveshaft any ideas what might be causing this light to come on and stay on

did the reluctor on the new driveshaft have the right number of teeth? How are the others?

i`m begining to wonder ordered of eurocarparts via reg number might be worth finding out
euro car parts part no 654736101 abs teeth 48 according to them

if i put my reg in would anybody be able to tell me the correct no of teeth

Don't put too much faith in Eurocarparts. I ordered a set of driveshafts from them a few weeks ago & got 2 driver side shafts. Drove up to Basingstoke to change one for a passenger side shaft & out came a box with the correct part number on it, but still had a driver's side shaft.

is it worth unplugging each sensor and cleaning or wiill it be better to plug into a computer

finally got the code read it is saying inconsistant wheel speeds .wheel speedsensor n/s/r
code cleared but came back on on test drive

my qustion is is it a sensor or could it be a pick up

any help would be apreciated

Sensor=pick up. Apparently the reluctors (toothed wheels) can break up on the rear hubs. You could possibly test back from the ecu but I'm probably not going to be sure on the pin out. Best off having the wheel and disk off and giving it a visual first as I'd hope it would tell you if it was short/open circuit.
