Squeek

I took my 406 110hdi estate for a spin today 140 mile trip drove like a dream but once i got to my destination i noticed a squeek (from the back brakes i think)... on the way back rarely dropping below 70mph i didn't hear it but once i got closer to home on the slower roads it was there again... when breaking it would get louder then stop but it came back so slowed down a bit sharper and it's gone again...Do these suffer with dry or hot brakes on long journeys?

it may be a pad sticking in the caliper, so the best thing to do is to pull the pads out and file and copper slip all the spots where the pad and calipers rub on one another and if you fell like it pull the slider out and copper slip them too just to get all the thing that may cause it squeek.

Well the squeek did go now its back with a vengance, think it's the rear drivers side because inside the wheel was boiling compaired to the passenger side.... Time to investigate methinks... But it's bloody freezing out there.
