ive been on other forums about this but i guesss you guys are best placed to help me.
do these coilovers fit the 406 v6 saloon and also the 406 coupe v6, ive emailed the seller and they say they do.
if they dont fit is it a case of the physical locations ie bolts and seatings or is it a weight difference issue?
the nearest kit to this is the fk high sport which is 600 quid fitted and these are 250 quid fitted, were talking about a 1500 quid motor here so go figure.
Yes they will "fit" - the suspension is more-or-less the same, the real question is if the car will sit & handle ok.
I've just been having a squint at the parts diagrams - how many variables? The springs for the V6 coupe are listed as (amongst many) 5002V8 but for the saloon these come up under the 2.0 for the D8 and the 2.2 for the D9, which are lighter engines. What you really need is someone with actual experience of playing musical springs. You could also ask these questions over on the coupe club.
Someone who has tested multiple different spring types, sizes, brands, etc. on a trial-and-error basis. Kind of like "musical chairs" but with springs and struts instead.
2002 (D9) Peugeot 406 Coupe SE, 2.2 litre Petrol. Scarlet Red/Rouge Ecarlate/Rosso Scarlatto. Black Leather interior. SOLD
2008 (E60 LCI) BMW 525i M-Sport, 3.0 litre Petrol. Carbonschwarz Metallic. Black Dakota Leather and Myrtlewood interior.
I don't know about anyone else but I wouldn't spend under £300 on good shocks and springs.
£159 on Coilovers is ludicrous. I'd rather drive on bald tyres.

Had these on the mx5, very bumpy ride, not bottoming out but the squeaking coming from them was not amusing?!
Think raceland are very similar to rokkor.
1999 2.0 hdi 110hp Estate in cherry red complete with A\C and also french intermittently working electrics.
I had a set of raceland coilovers on a 306, the standard springs were absolute rubbish, I bought new springs from rally design that worked a treat, not as good as top quality coilovers but it wasn't too bad and even with the new springs it was still a cheap option.
After they were on for a while the adjusters sized solid, I still have them in the shed after battering them trying to free them off! IIRC I did get one done but the other is still solid.
