Hi Folks

I'm new here, after over 20 years of Citroen hydropnumatic ownership I have now bought a 406 Hdi estate, and brilliant it is - apart from the ride

I recently changed the rear suspension top links not realising there is an adjustment on the inner end and ruined a perfectly good pair of tyres. The wheels had a large ammount of negative camber which I adjusted using the eccentric washers but then found I had about half an inch of tow out, so obviously it must be a tracking adjustment, I have now got the tracking almost spot on but have about half an inch of negative camber again, is there another adjustment or is something worn/broken?

the only way to get them perfectly inline is 4 wheel lazer tracking. there is only that 1 bolt on the rear to adjust the camber.

I believe 406's are designed to run with some negative camber though.
Both my 406's and every other 406 I've seen run with a little camber. I belive it aids handling and high speed stability!

Mine seems to be running with about an inch of negative camber across the wheel which looks a lot, but if there is no further adjustment I will have to run it as it is and see what happens.
