[SOLVED] Tyre pressure for D9 V6 saloon

I recently became the lucky owner of a 1999 D9 saloon (but with the old V6 engine). The problem I have is that the manual makes no mention of tyre pressure, and the label on the front door is missing. Could someone who has a similar spec car please take a picture of the label and upload it?

If it's the same as the D8 saloons then 33psi.
OT but D9 406s with the D8 engines must be pretty rare? Sounds cool, I bet a lot of people would like a D9 with the 1.9 XUD.

Thank you. I was hoping for a picture of the actual label, because usually the recommended pressure also depends on speed range, loading, and tyre dimensions (in my case 205/60R15).
I can't tell how rare it is, but I have seen a few of them for sale around here (not UK). I'm guessing that cars delivered in '99 and possibly 2000 had the old engine. Judging by for-sale pictures 2002 cars had the new engine.

I think 34psi all round is the "correct" pressure, but I usually go for 35psi front and vary the rears from 33psi in snow/ice to 37psi for long cruises in the summer (makes a hell of a difference to fuel economy!).

Your talking 37psi for a boot full of camping gear aint you? does it really make that much difference in fuel?

Found it! Turns out the label wasn't missing after all, just smaller and not quite where I expected it to be.
Correct pressure for my variant is 2.3 bar (a bit over 33psi), 2.5 bar (a bit over 36psi) loaded.

Camping gear or not it makes a huge difference. Not too long ago I drove to Cornwall and back with an empty car on 33psi and managed about 30mpg. With a fully loaded car pumped to 37psi I can do 50mpg on a good run.

My V6 was ordered just before the new engine was announced and was delivered in April 2000 so that should give you a rough reference point for the engine changeover.
