weird noise whilst braking

Heard a weird noise this morning whilst braking have heard it on and off before a couple of times.
at slow speed prob between 20-10 mph braking gently i get a low frequency droning noise, not like metal on metal for example when the pads are worn out more like a "bind" noise would be the beast way to describe it.
No effect on braking efficency, no bas warning light on this has only happened a couple of times at slow speed gentle braking not harsh braking at all.
Any thoughts? it is a bit of a weird one I admit that myself.
:)

i have heared many sounds of car sqealing upon braking so nothing surprises me.
Latest case was Opel Corsa with disk broken trying to brake :D
All i can say is to inspect the braking system and inform us about your results as im really interested in cause of this mystery :cheesy:

Hi I dunno if you got yours sorted but I've just posted about my rear shoe retaining pins snapping. When they snap they either make a bang like some1 has just threw a brick at your car & or you get a grinding noise as the pin & spring are being ground away inside your drum. It may be worth a check good luck
